We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Laser Welding Supervisor to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our laser welding operations, ensuring efficient production, high-quality welds, and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of laser welders, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and training.
• Develop and implement production schedules that meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding procedures, and specifications to ensure proper job setup and execution.
• Program and operate laser welding machines, optimizing weld parameters for different materials and thicknesses.
• Conduct routine inspections of welds to ensure they meet quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance on laser welding equipment and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Enforce all safety regulations and procedures to create a safe work environment.
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure all team members are properly trained on safety protocols.
• Address any production concerns or weld quality issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with team members, production managers, and engineers.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the metal fabrication or welding industry.
• Proven experience in laser welding operations, including programming and operating laser welding machines.
• Strong understanding of welding processes, metallurgy, and weld quality standards.
• Excellent knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to laser welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding procedures, and specifications.
• Experience in production planning and scheduling.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and coach a team.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
